Dahua expands HDCVI camera portfolio to include six new 2MP vari-focal offerings
High Definition Composite Video Interface (HDCVI) technology breathes NEW LIFE into aging analog video surveillance systems with HD VIDEO and IP-TYPE FUNCTIONALITY to long distance transmissions (up to 500 meters across RG-59 cable) over coaxial cable. For customers who want to retain their coaxial infrastructure, it represents an easy to install, cost-effective upgrade for legacy systems in need of improved image quality.
Dahua is pleased to expand its HDCVI camera portfolio to include six new 2MP vari-focal, multi-format cameras that support competing technologies (HDCVI, CVBS, AHD & TVI) for an easier installation. For budget conscious applications the new A21 LITE Series offers a manual 2.7mm-13.5mm lens. For applications where remote focus is essential, the A22 PRO Series features a motorized 2.7mm-13.5mm lens. All options offer a bullet, dome and eyeball form factor.
Thanks to firmware updates being accessible over coax and self-adaptive technology for a plug-and-play installation, HDCVI is easy to set up regardless of the manufacturer.
- Easy upgrade to HD using existing analog infrastructure for clearer, higher resolution images
- No latency so you don't miss important information
- No compression so your images maintain a high level of detail
- Maintains the original HD image without stretching or distortion
- For the full solution, pair any HDCVI camera with an X58 recorder
For added flexibility, the new vari-focal 2MP HDCVI cameras with integrated Smart IR support multiple video formats including HDCVI, CVBS, AHD and TVI standards. These cameras can switch between four formats via the OSD menu or via Dahua's new UTC controller (PFM820 sold separate), making the camera compatible with not only HCVRs but also most existing HD/SD DVRs.
